Eve, she must live somewhere around Gold Beach (?). Fire can be devestating and is pretty permanent [more or less]. I hope your friend deals with this crisis well,.... it can be heart-wrenching to decide what to save and what to leave. I know,... I've been there myself. As long as you survive you have hope of moving on.
