Been there, done that, own the tee shirt. Nothing in the world is like the realationship between chidren and parents. Nothing in the world is like the relationship between grandparents and grandkids. We had our youngest, Amanda who is now 6, with us every day from the time she was born until she was three while her single mom worked. When mom remarried Amanda moved far away from us. It takes an hour to get there. I experienced empty nest big time!! Thought I would never get over it. It is three years and I still have some of her toys around to remind me of that happy time. Children and grandkids are a gift and it nice to hear how much people on the Porch enjoy them! Hope you feel less lonesome soon. Love, Lois
