I wouldn't have said anything, but Roy's post inspired me, as I was sitting here thanking God for what happened to me two years ago today. Two years ago today, I was a pedestrian hit by a car. Flew threw the air and my head missed hitting concrete median by about two inches -- it hit soft, rain soaked grass instead. As I flew through the air, I remember thinking "so this is how I'm going to die, and it's okay, it's all gonna be okay." It was an incredible experience, taking away fear of dying, and causing me to realize just how incredibly quickly things can change, can end and begin. It also left me with the understanding of how important it is to say what you have to say NOW. As they say, you can't count on tomorrow.
So I thank you, too, porch people for your love and friendship. It's meant a lot to me, and changed me forever. I won't risk naming names and forgetting people, except to thank Roy for his post, which made me think to post. Maybe it will help someone. Roy, I'm really glad you're here! I'm glad I'm here, too. : )
