Out of all of the media coverage after 9/11, I remember most markedly and interview with a woman who searched hospitals for days and days and days for her husband who was never found. She said that each evening when she returned home her small children would run to the door to meet her and ask, "Did you find him? Did you find him?"
That interview took away the surrealism for me and drove home the reality of the tragedy to those who died and those who were left behind. Everytime I think of those children I feel the tears coming.
Yes, may we never forget. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND PEACE LOVING PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD!
