Born and raised in Asheville, N.C. on the other side of the Smokies. Saw Elvis at the downtown auditorium in 1954 and grew up with some of the best Blue Grass and "real" country music. Went back for the first time in 40 years in October of 2000. Called Mickey from my first house from the forties. A truly magic moment for me. Ron
