One of the joys of my work is introducing new people to the wonder, joy and excitement of Mickey Newbury's artistry and songs. I get e-mail from long time radio listeners which say the same thing that Karen from Florida wrote me today about Mickey's music which she heard for the first time on my radio show beginning back last April. She wrote: "I haven't heard a Newbury song I didn't like...see what you started!"

And I play at least 3 per night on my 3 hours show from 9:PM to Midnight (Texas Time!)Introducing new people to NEWbury is one of the greatest joys and honors I have in life. All the other joys and honors are either Religious or Marital. What a gem we have in Mickey's gift to us all. God bless you Mr. Newbury, because you have blessed us greatly.
