Heard oneof the most sycophantic interviews with Willie Nelson here (UK) by Nick Barraclough on BBCR2 last night. Not Willie's fault of course, but that of the lightweight interviewer....of course, he raised my heckles as he opened the programme with : "Tonight I have the greatest living songwriter here in the studio with me"....I was close to the BBC building as it was being aired and was ready to drop in for a beer with Mickey....but no, wait, he was talking about Willie!! I'll give him "Nightlife", Funny How Time Slips Away, Hello Walls, Crazy etc but "To All The Girls I've Loved Before" ??
