Thank you Billy & Eve, Connie, Bud and all Porchers for your birthday greetings. When I checked the board tonight I momentarily forgot it was my birthday and was surprised to see messages to me! Born in '51, I'm 51 now. (Randy Johnson's number!!)

I will celebrate this Saturday when my sister-in-law and cousin and some of their female co-horts kidnap me for the movies and a dinner out. My brother will stay with my mom so that I can do this, otherwise, I don't get out of the house like I used to.

Some of you know, that my father passed away last May, and with my mother's Alzheimers, it gets kinda rough here on the homefront. One-day-at-a-time. Every day a challenge. Every eve a blessing.
