He told me once that I was not to cry when he died because only his body dies, his spirit would still be here with us. He was not afraid of death because he had already seen the other side in a near death experience and it was a beautiful and wonderful place. I will miss him so much. It will change my world. Just knowing he is no longer in it and I can no longer talk to him just breaks my heart. I wish I had called one more time. I know he wanted us to keep the board going and be here for the family and each other.
I started to talk to Dave once about something Mickey asked me to do when he died to see what he thought but I decided if Mickey wanted it, I would do it. He asked me to come in every now and then and tell you all Good Night with his little sign of angel's wings ~*~
He said to tell you that he would be there guiding my fingers and it would be his way of letting you know that he is still around and loves you.
We thought of you with love today But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, And days before that too. We think of you in silence We often speak your name. Now all we have are memories And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake With which we will never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our hearts.
"Bye, Mickey, I love you" and then he would say "Bye Honey, I love you too"
