Mickey words can never express the sympathy I have here in my heart for all of your family and friends. I only met Susie one time and that was at your house in Hendersonville, TN. I came with Don Taylor who knew you and he was excited about introducing me to you and Susie. This was May,1972. We were sitting in your boat house visiting and (while the conversation was going on) you and I kept looking at each other. I KNOW HIM! I thought to myself (while you must have been thinking the same thing). You were the first to ask "Have you ever lived at the 4500 Cedar Springs Apartments? (Dallas, Texas) My answer was an amazing "YES" and I still live there! He gave me that beautiful, wonderful smile and starting reminiscing stories about his life there. We really had a wonderful reunion talking about everyone who still lived there and who had moved. When we left I told my aunt & uncle to listen to your music. They taped the July 4th celebration performance you did here in Tennessee. Mickey I never forgot you and always remembered your wonderful message you put to word and song. Yesterday, I was on a "Casino Bus" with Jennifer H. (WSM) and I had to ask about you. YOU were listening and you made sure I knew you were HAPPY, SAFE and in LOVING arms this morning when they broadcast the news. I am sorry that I could not have lived close enough to have met and known your children. Lana
