suzi it seemed like just yesterday that i met you and mickey.....it was 30 years ago wasn't it........san francisco was such special place for you and mickey....how lucky i was so have known you and your family......mickey was as close a friend as anyone has could have ever been.....he always was there for me....to listen to me babble and cry at 4 in the morning, just listening and saying the right things the keep the demons at bay.....god how he knew those demons! i will never forget the nights at the boarding house.....the comments to me from the stage....hows it sound jeff? how we doing kiddo? and how about the night i threw that concert at the old fillmore in s.f. and he had me find and fly in jack elliott from hawaii to open for his old friend....what an evening.....a thousand or so fans sitting in the pews of an old jewish temple with the rain falling and hitting the stained glass roof....it was magic beyond words....i remember mickey telling the audience it was the first time he had played at such a holy place......then when the show was over we went over to my house in marin with about 20 of my friends and mickey played and sang til the sun came up....wow....one request after another....he must have sang t total tommy 4 or 5 times,explaining its meaning as he performed....everybody loved that song, especially roger who seemed attached to mickey....he loved mickey so much....we all did....i talked to mick last week....i am so happy i did.....those are some of my sweet memories of the mick........always and always my big brother....say hello to donahue and dale for me....i miss you guys........suzi.love to your family......jeffry trager
