Dear fellow admirers of Mickey and of the whole Newbury family,
I invite you to check out a tribute to Mickey on my Home Page at www.duskweaver.com. (Look for "Breaking News" and it's at the top.)
For now, the notice is brief (but prominent), until I can stop crying long enough to gather my wits and dry off the computer keyboard for more thorough tribute.
Oh, and please understand that my intention is to share this tribute with you, but not to hawk myself or my web site. It's the one place that I can personally reach a lot of people and spread the word on Mickey's music... I had already posted a link to Mickey's web site when mine first went online several days ago. If you'd also like to see that recommendation, just click on the Home Page button that says, "Links."
I'll try to post a thorough tribute at my site soon, but for now, I'm still struggling to find adequate words to befit Mickey, his music, his loving ways, and his patient, compassionate support.... well, who am I kidding?... I am also still struggling with my own selfish sorrow that we've lost him from this Earth.
God bless you all, and I hope that you find my web site tribute worthy of so fine a man and musician as our dear Mickey. Please let me know if you feel it's not up to par, for any reason, because it means a lot to me that it be appropriate.
