I put it off too long...These past years I've meant to contact you and let you know how much your music meant to me. We met only once in Nashville many years ago... I only wanted to say hello and shake your hand.. You treated me not as another fan with an interuption to your day but; as a person. You gave me 15 minutes of your day with questions I loved to answer: "what's your favorite song"... "why".. I really never could pick a "favorite" and told you. You pinned me down to a couple. One I recall: "Remember the Good"... And Mickey I will... Would loved to have known you better...but; maybe, thru your music.. I really do..My wife and I send our thoughts to your family... "HE SLIPPED INTO THE SILENCE, OF MY DREAMS LAST NIGHT. WANDERING FROM ROOM TO ROOM, TURNING ON THE LIGHT. HIS LAUGHTER SPILLED LIKE A RIVER, OF WATER OUT TO SEA. I'M SWEPT AWAY FROM SADNESS, CLINGING TO HIS MEMORIES."
