Dear Susie,
Though we've never met, I'll always feel close to you because of how many times Mickey spoke to me of his love for you. I remember the first time you and I ever spoke was regarding my longtime search for Larry Jon. You were so kind to make the effort to find me and let me know how to contact LJ. The best part of that story is that it allowed me to meet Mickey a couple years later through LJ. We hit it off right away for many reasons and I don't believe I've ever become as close to anyone as I became with Mickey in so short a time.
The days he spent in Atlanta with me over the last few years will always mean so much to me. We would spend the whole day watching movies and talking sometimes. I loved arguing with Mickey more than anyone I've ever known, because he knew exactly where I was coming from, even if he didn't agree with me.
And finally, I met a woman who has been the love of my life at Mickeys show almost five years ago this month. That was the greatest gift, along with his music that I could ever receive.
