I hadn't checked the porch for a week and was shocked and saddened to hear that Mick is gone. At first I regretted that I'd never talked to him or emailed hime to express my appreciation for his music and his life. But I feel like I've gained real insight into him through the good people on this porch. He said so much to me, through his music, and has shown so much love to me, through his friends here, than I could ever thank him for. My heart and prayers go out to Susie, Laura Shayne and the other kids, dear Mamie, and all of you good people on the Porch who I know are hurting.
Keep the faith, and keep a place on the porch for this lonesome soul
