When I was but a boy, in days of childhood I used to play 'til evenin' shadows come Then winding down that old familiar pathway I heard my mother call, at set of sun Come home. Come home, it's suppertime The shadows lengthen fast Come home. Come home, it's suppertime. We're going home, at last. (spoken) Some of the fondest memories of my childhood Were woven around suppertime When Mom would come to the back steps of the old homeplace She'd say, "George, come on in, it's suppertime" Oh, oh my, but how I'd love to hear that once more But you know, for me, time has woven the realization of truth, that is even more thrilling And that's when the Lord comes to the portals of Glory, And says, "Come on in, for it's suppertime." And we'll be gathered around the table with the Lord, at the greatest, the greatest supperiime of them all In visions now, I see her standing 'yonder! And her familiar voice I hear once more, The banquet table's ready, up in Heaven, Aw, it's suppertime, upon the Golden Throne Come home. Come home, it's suppertime The shadows lengthen fast Come home. Come home, it's suppertime We're going home at last. We're going home, at last. (spoken) You know, I've got a lot more days behind me Than I have ahead of me And I know that But I also know this: Should He return tonight, I'm packed and ready to go Got my house all in order. Got my house all in order. Oh, I'm going home, I'm going home, at last. Oh I'm going home, someday.

That's for Susan, Mamie and the rest. It's the gospel group, "The Cathedrals" and the CD is "A Farewell Celebration". If you don't have it, it's worth getting. Mickey's sitting at that supperetable, waiting for us. And, like the song says, "It'll be the greatest suppertime of 'em all" And all our voices will join in this song.

God love you, Susan, and the family.
