Your contributions to the Gathering in 2000 and the Tribute Album in 2001 reflected enthusiasm, passion and commitment. Qualities rather like Mickey's.

RB phoned me from Edinburgh, Scotland with news of Mickey's death on Sunday, October 29. Earlier that morning, for no reason other than my love of the song, I'd been playing and singing "All My Trials".

Mickey was never far from the thoughts of any of the porchers and realising the special closeness you had with Mickey, I grieve with you.
