Susie, I have been a fan of Mickey's for over 30 years or so. Unfortunately I was only able to see him once in concert, at UCLA's Royce Hall back in the 70's. I post here occasionally and love the board and all the people who make up the Porch. I know that Mickey spent a good bit of time on here. My question is: Did Mickey know exactly how truly loved he was by the people who loved his music and supported him all these years? I know he had some mightly good friends on here, but just wonder if he knew the extent of influence his Music has had over the Generations? I have worn out countless copies of his LP's over the years, and I am glad that CD's last longer. Just remember that Mickey and all the Newbury Family are in our thoughts and prayers. And I would not be surprised if there was rain, Just Mickey reminding us that he is still around and coming home to be with the ones who loved him.
