I happened to stumble upon Larry Larry's link to this site on the "old" Neil Diamond board this morning. I've spent the last hour reading your thoughts and memories of Mickey Newbury. I'm sorry to say that all I knew of this man is what GinnyG and Larry Larry posted on the IAIS board. He sounds like he was a beautiful soul. I just wanted to express my sincere sympathy to all of his family, friends and fans. (Mamie has posted on the Neil Diamond board in the past and I always thought she was a warm, delightful lady.)
