Thanks Hank for those wonderful words, we know that there is a lot of pain that you are having to deal with now, and we continue to think about you and your wonderful bride and we all all drawn to this porch for the same reason...our love not only for THE MUSIC, but for the welfare of each other...we have missed you on the board but I wanted you to know that your words are a soothing balm for us and especially to me. Thanks and God Bless you and yours.
On another note you know that Lili has just blown through this part of the world and with it has come much wind and rain, as it has been doing this for days here, and with it has come thoughts and sounds that I know Mickey would love, would make for some great in between tracks for his music, and today, this afternoon that rain will be heard in my heart, soul and mind...I am thinking about the 30 plus years that I have enjoyed the treasure of Mickey Newbury and will until it too is my time to go listen to him in person.
Just some ramblings from a man that "Came to hear the music" many years ago.
