The last conversation I had with Mickey (a couple of weeks before his passing)lasted almost 2 hours on the phone. He was going through a box of songs that he hadn't looked through for years. They were in various states of completion. He sang me the first song he ever wrote, and many, many more. I wept openly, and I smiled till my face hurt. In the best "little Mick" voice I'd ever heard him use, he said "awe, do you really like 'em honey?" That conversation, and memories of the friendship we have had for nearly 20 years will be safely kept within my heart. For they are among the most precious treasures of my life. I am sad, and missing you, Mick.
