Hey Jon... Thank you for the response...when I didn't hear anything right away, I was actually afraid I'd offended all Mickey's fans when I said FMJ was the only one I'd heard so far (see my entry in the guestbook also). Rest assured, I will be adding to my library, one by one, all of Mickey's releases. God, I hate it when people we love have to leave this world. When I first saw your name on the Email roster, I thought they might actually be referring to Jon Mark, of the band Mark-Almond--are you familiar with them? Very cool avant-garde jazz band of the 70's--Jonny Almond on sax & woodwinds, and the ultra-cool Jon Mark on vocals and acoustic guitar. It would not have surprised me in the least to hear that Jon Mark was a fan of Mickey's. Today, he has gone from the Mark-Almond sound to doing beautiful recordings of instrumental electronic New Age music (currently my favorite genre of music). Quite a change for him. I don't know if this type of music appeals to you, but for music that truly heals, uplifts and calms the soul, it's beyond compare. If you're interested, check out Jon's first New Age recording, THE STANDING STONES OF CALLANISH. It just might leave you breathless. Anyway: thank you again for the response. It meant a lot. Mickey had a lot of friends he'd never met, and I'm sure that where he is now, he is grinning from ear to ear. Peace.....
