I was fortunate enough to work with Mickey in the studio and contributed to Lulled by Moonlight. The man was the truest genius and poet I've ever been blessed to work with in Nashville in over 22 years. I hold the opportunity to play with him and to contribute in some small way to his art as high as anything I've done in this town. When I remember Nashville in years to come, the two men I'll remember and feel blessed to have shared some music with are Chet and Mickey-as different as they can be, but both giants and visionaries.
