No doubt about it, Bill. It's sad, but I know it's going to be true ... Mickey is about to become so much larger in death than he ever was in life. I know that's going to happen! I don't have any doubts about that. He's truly a legend now, and the lucky ones are those of us who truly got to know him and got to share in some small way in his life while he was with us.
In one sense, I'm sorry that it had to be this way, but in another sense, I'm so very glad to know that Mick is about to get the true measure of respect that has been due him all these years. My emotions are mixed, but I don't doubt for a minute that the legend status is going to happen ... and probably even moreso that I can even imagine at the moment.
