When I met Mickey in Nashville in 1969, I was working as a DJ and writing songs for Chuck Glazer. They're just plain old country songs. But one of them comes to mind today. The opening line goes,
"It's not the things you'll take from me when you leave, it's what you'll leave behind."
Mickey, you gave you life to your music, and you gave your music to us. We will never forget you and do our best to live up to your expections of us as we love our neighbors and spread kindness where ever we go. God bless you Susan, Kids and Family. God bless us all.
