Yes, I'm so sad, but this porch offers comfort. There have been voices of generations and there have been great poets and singers and writers, but Mickey... He was a great poet and singer and writer, but he transcended that. His voice touched the heart and the soul of anyone who would hear it. His humanity and his love spread to all whom he touched. I met him once and will cherish the moment. He spoke to me like an old friend. He was and he is a treasure. Thanks, Mickey.
