I've told this before but it may need telling again. As we were leaving Sunday School one morning, Wayne Moss asked me if I wanted to hear a Mick story. He said when they were recording, Mick ask him if he could find some train sounds for effect on one of the recordings. Wayne found some and they included them on the next recording. Next, Mick ask him if he could find some cricket sounds. Wayne searched diligently but couldn't find any. A few days later, Mick came to the studio (Cinderella) with a quart jar full of crickets and asked Wayne to see if they could record them. They put them in the studio by themselves but they wouldn't make a sound. Next, they tried turning off the light and leaving them--still no results so they gave up (so Wayne thought). Next day, Wayne came in and the top was off of the jar and crickets were everywhere. Of course, Wayne thinks Mick "tried" something else. Since then, Wayne has had the exterminator in twice but still has humpbacked crickets in his studio.
