The first real breath of autumn has come to east central Texas. I love the fall. For some reason its coming always makes me nostalgic. My memories of the last 30 years are very much entwined with the life and music of Mickey Newbury. Lots of sweet memories.

I hope to soon travel south to see Mamie and Jerry and Larry and Dave. Hope to meet Jesse too.

Then a trip out west to meet Donna, Bud and Randy B, with a stop on the way back to meet Roy, Rick, and Texas Granny.

Susie, a gathering would be outa' sight! I'm absolutely sure that the circle will be unbroken.
