Susie, Six (?) years ago, Mick was on his way home after recording "Lulled" in Nashville. He'd stopped at Mamie's for a few days & called me. Asked me if I wanted to come over & hear something new. We sat on the floor & to the rough cut of "Lulled". As any of you who have had the opportunity with Mick know, after each song, he'd be looking at me, wanting my opinion. Afterwards, we talked about surface vs deeper meanings, etc. I told him I'd always wondered about "The Dragon & the Mouse". He just gave me that "fox eatin' briars" grin & said nothing. Later, I was on my way home & my cell phone rang. I picked it up & he said "who is the world's most famous mouse?" I did about a two count & said "ok, who is the dragon?". A day later he called me at home with "do you want to know who the dragon is?". This could have gone under the "Mickey" stories below.
