Just in case you missed it, the box set was a vinyl to cd transfer. I agree that some vinyl does sound better than the compact disc counterparts, but if you're going to transfer the actual vinyl to cd-r, all you are going to gain is noise. Is that what you want? No disrespect intended, I just don't know why you would do that.
