I got to know Mickey on vinyl with an analog system, and a set of Altec 7 speakers, which I still have. The new CD's are all digital, and are all equalized, and state-of-the-art, granted. I have 'em and enjoy 'em, but I like the warm, analog sound from the vinyl. I take nothing away from McDonald, but I know what I like, if you'll pardon me for saying so. I'd LOVE to get virgin vinyl and record 'em to CD or TDK SA90 tapes, or both. Either of which I like and would be willing to live with a little hiss, if necessary. As the saying goes, "I don't know nothin' about art, but I know what I like!" Thanks for your input and suggestions!
