Tom Russell and Steve Young are two of my favorite artists and Mickey did like and respect them both. Both were fans of Mickey's and wrote to me about their admiration for his work. Steve posted a nice message here recently and visited with Mickey at his home during a recent trip to Oregon. They talked an afternoon away and Steve sent me a nice email about it. Mickey told me how much he enjoyed the visit. Many times artists would say they would do something and it never happened. Steve told me he'd drop in on Mickey when he got out there and he did. A class act. Tom is too. Give my best to both of them. If any Front Porchers don't have CDs by these artists, get some.
