Bob... I completely agree with your thoughts about Austin City Limits. When I posted that a friend memtioned she had enjoyed his appearance on ACL some years back, I felt she was confused...I asked Porcher's if he had..just when it was. Yourself and other Porcher's have confirmed my belief... I had written ACL more than once (in those days before the web..SnailMail) in the late 70's asking for an appearance by Mickey. No one ever answered any of my correspondence. Also... I'm not to happy with whomever wrote Mickey's bio for CMT.com ...I've never introduced Mickey's music to anyone who did't become a fan...
