Roy is correct, but Mickey had a lot of production control on his recordings after leaving RCA. He had much to say about those musicians, most of whom were known to him in Nashville. On Heaven Help The Child, some songs were recorded in Hollywood so different musicians came in there. Since 1995 (Lulled By THe Moonlight) Paula and Mickey have selected them. Some of them developed a great ear for Mickey's music---John Catchings, David Hunsinger, Craig Nelson and others. Of course, Jack and Mickey were pals and he was invaluable. Regarding the Chet Atkins note below, there is a new DVD out with Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed live. They made two great albums together- now available on one CD. Try the Chet Atkins- Les Paul CD too. Great!
