Only in "theory". I worked on Mickey's style of playing, ala "Live at Montezuma" for months. Then, all of a sudden it hit me. I could play about everything.

Mick once said that he really played only about four songs, meaning four patterns. So once you learn one song his way, you can do a lot of them.

Basically, once I learned them, I applied Mickey's patterns to the terms I used from my music education.

Someone here will have more on this in a future publication ;).
