I have one of these digital answering machines that records messages on some kind of chip. My wife gets home before I do and deletes or saves anything that she thinks might be important. Last night I went to sleep on the couch watching the baseball game and a bolt of lighting stuck close enough to the house to wake me up and knock the lights out for a second or two. When the lights came back on the answering maching started playing back the saved messages...the first voice I heard was Mickey...talking about a five month trip and 8,000 miles in a motor home...and laughing the way he did...now, from a deep sleep to hearing Mickey talk to me was a little strange. It took a few seconds for me to realize what had happened. I wish I knew a way to get that message off that little chip...some of you might enjoy it. If someone has an idea, let me know.
