Ok, Let's do the the ball in motion. Because of the central location, contacts in place, very reasonable hotel and motel rates...great food and music and more...Austin would get my vote.
I'm saying late spring...the back part of May or the first week in June...thinking of the many on the porch who teach school...like Susan....
Finding a place will be no problem...Susan W., Randy D, Charlie Day, Dave, Larry Larry, Sir William Smith and a few others who escape me right now, along with myself could form one of those committee things and make stupid decisions.
I believe that this would give us enough time to obtain good air fares, make travel plans, perhaps get folks like Jonmark, Jack Williams, Steve Young and some others to make plans in their schedule.
Austin is not a hard drive for Mamie and Jerry, and I'm sure that Larry could arrange transportation and Big Macs.
I'm throwing out ideas here...I'm open for anything that anyone might want to toss into the hat.
There might need to be some type of register fee to cover costs of a PA or things we can't borrow beg or steal. Nothing big...maybe ten bucks a person...
