Mike's working on getting the update in place. It wasn't something we ever really prepared for (or ever wanted to). We received numerous calls for information and photos, requests for interviews, etc. and because some media were on tight deadlines, we tried to be sure those asking were getting the right info, some better photos, etc. Emails were pouring in, phone calls and orders! We were also trying to access and find all of the information that was being put out so we could archive it as well. Some didn't contact us and we wish they would have so we could have corrected inaccuracies or given them a better pic to use. News of Mickey's death reached around the world and included front page coverage in newspapers, radio airplay and television. I know we couldn't (and didn't) find it all. That's why the Porchers have been a great help in gathering and posting links. Of course, our first concern was for Susan, Chris, Leah, Stephen, Laura, Joe, Mamie and Jerry and what we could do for them. We had our tears and sadness, too. Of course anyone can post their personal tributes and many have. It's hard to sum up in words all that Mickey gave to the world of music and to each of us in a more personal way. Tributes are being written but sometimes you need some time to get it just right...we're working on it..Oklahoma...you won't be disappointed. Besides read the old message board and you'll find more heartful expressions of love and more tributes from real people than your heart can hold.
