This is the front
porch of the cyberspace home of Mickey Newbury and his friends. Everyone
is welcome. Please "pull up a chair," relax and enjoy the company of
friends who share their love and admiration for Mickey's music and
all of life's other blessings. This is an open board and we have no censor
or controls. We ask that you respect each other and us by refraining from
profanity. We avoid discussions on politics and religion because those
differences tend to divide us, and this is a place of retreat and
relaxation. As friends, we share our family news, stories, hopes, dreams
and disappointments. We share our love of music, art and literature. And
we share ourselves and enjoy the company of others. In the past, on a few
occasions we have removed inappropriate postings that were angry or
profane. We hope that isn't required ever again. Please be very careful
bringing hyper links to this site. Sometimes stray dogs have fleas, and
one virus was inadvertently brought to us that way. We hope you join
us and let us share your company. We appreciate the support you have
given Mickey and us in getting his music out for the enrichment of all of
