Even as I type, Steve is suiting up to "walk
in space" for the second time in as many days.
In a news conference following his first EVA, Saturday,
when asked what it meant to him, he lit up...
"don't get me started... you don't have enough time!".
Steve is a guitar player, through and through.
Had one in his hands right up to the pre-launch
meal of Discovery last week. He's been a musician all
through his career as an engineer/astronaut, and I believe
he has access to one, (a guitar, that is) up there, when he
gets off work today.
He's also lead guitarist in a pretty far out band...
